Julie Nevel is an independent contemporary Christian recording artist based in the Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania. A seasoned veteran of 30+ years, Julie has ministered full-time throughout the U.S. and abroad as a worship leader, singer/songwriter, speaker, concert artist and pianist, and more recently has added author to her credentials. In an array of venues, from churches, festivals and conventions, to prisons, foreign and inner city missions, VBS, retreats, camps and even your neighborhood coffee house, Julie's powerful music ministry captures listeners with original songs written from the heart and reflecting her own personal experiences. 
 

Julie has recorded many projects of her original music throughout her years of ministry. Her most recent album, Creation's Song, was preceded by Tidings of Joy, Front Row, Just Show Up and Hope for Your Heart. Her craft of songwriting has opened doors of opportunity for Julie to write for some special projects. These include the song "The Spirit of the Flame," inspired by the athletes of the Special Olympics and sung at the World Games, and "Step by Step," a song penned for breast cancer awareness and performed for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and many other walks and events. In addition to her songwriting, she has had her first book in a series published, Asbury Lane: An American Love Story. A novel based on a true story about her parents and their amazing journey together, she weaves a heartwarming tale of faith, family and love. Julie is also the founder of the Sister to Sister Women's Conference, which she coordinates and takes to various churches and venues.

As a speaker, Julie has a unique approach as she weaves Scripture, stories of life experiences and songs together to bring an uplifting and encouraging message. Some of the themes Julie offers are Hope for the Heart, Seasons of the Soul, Road Trip, Just Show Up, and Legacy. She is always willing to accommodate a group’s requests and build on a suggested theme.
